Dermatologists are specialist physicians who diagnose and treat diseases of the skin, hair and nails. They may work with children or adults, and treat skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne and cold sores and more serious conditions, such as skin cancer. Most dermatologists are skin surgeons as well as physicians. They may perform some surgery as part of their role, including cosmetic procedures such as removing birthmarks, skin tags or moles. Endocrinologist and diabetologist (ED) is medical doctor who investigate, diagnose and treat disorders of the endocrine system. Endocrinologist have the training to diagnose and treat hormone imbalances and problems by helping to restore the normal balance of hormones in the body. Endocrinologist and diabetologist treat conditions such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, lipid disorders, endocrine disorders of the reproductive system, such as polycystic, ovary syndrome, adrenal disease, bone and calcium disorders, pituitary disease, endocrine late effects of cancer treatment.
